Can I use lip gloss after having lip enhancement with Filler?
Updated: Feb 15, 2022
Well, it’s very simple… Yes, as long as your lip balm/ lipstick is clean.

Anything that is placed on your lips, especially in the first week after having lip enhancement, should be new or cleaned. Using alcohol is a great way of disinfecting your lipsticks and lips balms. However, lip balms that need a finger to be used should probably be avoided.
After lip enhancement, your lips will feel enlarged and swelling is a normal part of the process that can last up to 7 days. In the initial few hours after the treatment, it is best to refrain from touching your lips, smoking, or even kissing… save that for a bit later. Eating is allowed, but you may have that strange feeling similar to having gone to the dentist.
Using a cold compress is very helpful, but remember it should be clean. Once your lips are done, some lip balm /cream will be applied straight away and a new mask is advised.
Keep the lips hydrated …..
After having lip filler you can treat yourself to new lip balm, anything goes really from Nivea, Carmex, or one of my favourites is Teoxane 3D lip. It has an amazing tip that helps cool the lips, it has nutritive ingredients to soothe and nourish the lips.
Lipstick ….
Well, I don’t need any excuse to buy or apply lipstick. So as long as it is clean, you can enjoy applying lipstick to your new lips.
The bottom line is… If it is going on the lips it has to be clean!
ICE them, hydrate them but most of all enjoy them!
